Hands-On Workshops at Lied Discovery Children's Museum

New Summer Workshops for kids set at Lied Discovery Children's Museum.
Families and children of all ages can enjoy hands-on fun and learning.

Hands-on arts and crafts workshops will be held on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. Beach in the Desert ($25) is available for Little Learners ages 3-6, and Summer Fun ($30) is set for ages 7-12. Kids need only bring their artistic expression and creativity. Both workshops include make-and-take crafts and morning snacks will be provided. Cost includes all supplies and materials. Registration is required and the deadline for these workshops is Friday, July 10.

Hands-on science workshops will be held on Saturday, August 8, from 9 a.m. until noon. Human Body Fun ($25) is available for Little Learners ages 3-6, and Grossology Fun ($30) is set for ages 7-12. These workshops offer an interactive experience in conjunction with the museum's featured exhibition, Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body. Cost includes all supplies and materials. Registration is required and deadline for these workshops is Friday, July 24.
